Job Purpose (why the job exists)

• This role involves standardization and archiving of new data that complement our offerings, allowing us to expand our analytics offerings and support to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Participate in facility audit and data landscaping to source new potential data sources and partnerships.
• Partner with internal colleagues across the business, ensuring they have clarity on the data we hold, ensuring data definitions and documentation is clear and effective and ensuring we comply with data security and data protection protocols.

Key Responsibilities (what it must achieve)

• Actively participate in the process of identifying major stakeholders for access to new data (pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, professional and student bodies) and assist with information to be presented, discoursed, or negotiated.
• Monitor data collection, screening, and archiving from data partners, working directly with third-party organizations.
• Engage internal stakeholders and clients to understand their data needs.
• Ensure assigned data are well defined and related documentation is maintained and improved.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to make sure we utilize the data we collect to its full potential.
• Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results.
• Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods.
• Horizon scan to stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques, and methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm or Pharm.D)
• 1-2 experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Specialised Knowledge (breadth & depth across disciplines/functions; expertise in the field required):

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape especially the drug distribution and utilization channels.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word).
• Ability to undertake basic data cleaning, screening, and visualization using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
