Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are currently seeking an experienced accountant to join our firm.
• In this role, you will demonstrate your management skills and accounting expertise in a variety of personal and corporate accounting practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2 or more years of related experience
• In-depth understanding of regulatory policies
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
• Expertise working with accounting ERP
• Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
• The candidate must reside within Ajah and its environment.

Salary

• N70,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
