Fogos Photo Studio is a modern photography studio located at Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. According to our studies, many photographers lack a well-equipped and spacious place to give their clients the perfect shoot, which is why we have come up with a solution with the opening of this state-of-the-art studio. The studio is stocked with photography equipment that can be used for any shoot. OUR AIM: To make it easy for photographers, media houses, and creative agencies to hire a comfy place for their shoots.

Job Description

• We are looking for a passionate Photographer to capture moments on film and use images to tell a story.
• The successful candidate will be able to achieve technical, qualitative, and quantitative goals while meeting the project’s needs and deadlines.

Job Functions

• Take the brief to understand specifications and work closely with our art team to develop the concept
• Communicating with clients to set up a time and place for a photoshoot
• Capture and process images until you achieve desired results
• Shoot poses that don’t look posed
• Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
• Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses, etc)
• Arrange objects, scenes, lighting, and background to adhere to specifications
• Direct participants
• Archive photographic images and maintain a database
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures
• Managing photography sessions.

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND OND or SSCE qualification
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Proven professional shooting experience
• Eye-catching portfolio
• Proficient with traditional and modern equipment
• Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One, or other photography-specific software
• Shooting, lighting, and printing skills
• Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques
• Knowledge of the production process for online publishing and various printing applications
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks.
