Design Union is a vertically integrated Real Estate development group with divisions that carry out design / engineering, construction, and real estate development.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Supervise all activities of project and identify all errors in plans manage and maintain accurate field notes and prepare comprehensive assessments report.
• You are to participate in the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of field engineering assignments including development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems. This spans from the inception till handover of the project.
• You will also be responsible for reviewing the performance of subcontractors to assure contract compliance, the application of accepted construction technology and standards, and the acceptable standardization of materials and supplies.

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

• Must be a graduate of Civil / Structural Engineering from any reputable university with a minimum of second class honours (upper divisions).
• Must have requisite site experience, minimum of 10 years, in site supervision of building construction projects.
• Must be COREN registered or in the process of being registered.

Required Skills / Attributes:

• Must be technically sound and detailed in interpretation of technical blue prints and all construction drawings related with the project.
• Must have ability to communicate effectively both with the project team, visiting clients and statutory authority personnel.
• Must be conversant with the basic CAD software, Microsoft office and project planning tools.
• Must have ability to effectively manage people and time
• Must be able to use basic leveling and surveying tools.
• Must be a result-oriented person, self-driven and performer.
• Have unrelenting ability to own a process and ensure results.
