Al Jawda Foundation is the proprietor of Al Jawda English Schools in Khartoum, Sudan. Al Jawda schools deliver high quality, lifelong learning outcomes for all pupils. We are currently providing reliable educational service for children between KG1 to Grade 10. As a school, we follow the highly respected Cambridge international curriculum leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Khartoum, Sudan

Description

• We are currently seeking the services of experienced Nigerian Teachers in Sudan who are already in the service of Government or private schools that may negotiate leave of absence for two or three years with their employers appointed to teach in our schools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teaching the provided syllabus using modern teaching methods
• Creating and administering an engaging positive learning environment.
• Administering mid-term and final tests.
• Participating in monthly training workshops and meetings.
• Attending parent-teacher meetings
• Supporting individual learning, including slow-learners and gifted pupils.
• Giving a regular feedback, both orally and written
• Executing all other academic programs such as remedial classes, summer courses, etc.

Qualifications

• A valid Teaching Certificate
• B.Sc Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, etc, or a B.Sc.Ed Degree with a Science subject as a teaching subject.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience
• Maximum age of 40.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.  
• High levels of integrity, commitment and personal conduct will be expected of the candidate for this position.
