Job Description
The objective of a digital marketing specialist is to develop strong and innovative strategies to promote the business.
A digital marketing specialist is expected to effectively use all marketing tools and techniques like PPC, SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising to build brand visibility and product retention.
Ensure that the brand message is consistent and assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers.
Job Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Specialist responsibilities include:
Planning and executing all digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
Maintaining brand social media presence across all digital channels and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
Design, build and maintain brand’s social media presence
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
Create landing pages and optimize the user experience
Create and execute standard digital marketing campaigns that convert
Craft email marketing messages that convert and increase subscribers to the existing email list
Run Pay Per Click advertising
Perform SEO related functions
Content Marketing - Produce valuable content on a consistent basis
Create infographics based on research or surveys
Manage brand website and maintain it, keeping best practices in mind
Optimize content for the website and social media platforms
Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc
Track the website traffic flow
Implement and analyze performance metrics
Provide internal reports on a regular basis
Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms
Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used
Monitor key online marketing metrics to track the success
Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter,
Instagram, YouTube Facebook, etc.)
Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc. to increase company and brand awareness
Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.)
Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update the website
Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
Acquire insight into digital marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
Plan and manage all phases of the digital marketing department including marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
Improve and control campaign budgets.
Work with advertising and media experts to develop marketing outcomes.
Recognize the newest trends and technologies affecting the industry.
