Fusion Facilities commenced operations in 2013 as a business focusing on integrated management services. The vision expanded in 2015 when the Directors decided to adopt a Group structure and focus on the following sectors which are critical to the attainment of man's physiological and safety needs. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development & Strategy Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a talented and dynamic Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling business solutions.
  • This position requires the ability to feel comfortable communicating in a professional and effective manner with C-level executives, presidents, owners, and directors.

Responsibilities

  • To hunt for new clients and to take initiative to start the business with a new account.
  • Should be able to take decision with the consent of senior manager for opening a new account and closing the deals.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and realistic forecasts to the management
  • Identify new products and competition status.
  • To set goals and develop plans for growing the company’s business.
  • To research prospective accounts and their contacts, and initiate contact with them.
  • To research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives.
  • To develop, pursue, and catch leads; and move them through our sales cycle.
  • To develop winning quotes and proposals for prospective customers of the company.
  • To be responsible for building long-term relationship with the company’s new and existing clients.
  • To make yourself available, from time to time, for industry events such as seminars and conferences inside and outside of Lagos State
  • To show improvement from one quarter to the next in your person and in the job.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or other related fields
  • 7 - 10 years of proven sales experience in business or a similar area that requires direct customer interaction
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs and machines.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to come up with creative solutions.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior-level professionals and work well under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial and innovate personality
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Must reside in Lagos
  • Preferably Female for gender balance.
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new client relationships in their respective territories through networking efforts.
  • Proactively and independently research and contact new prospects to successfully solicit new business opportunities.
  • Supplement direct calling on prospects by developing referrals from business intermediaries (e.g., consultants, attorneys, investment bankers, accountants, and business brokers).
  • Design, implement, and report on lead generation appropriate strategies/programmes.
  • Interact with project teams once new business opportunities and relationships have been converted to sales to ensure the appropriate fulfilment and management of these relationships.
  • Facilitate sales cycle success, and drive urgency.
  • Manage and update accurate account details and contact information of key leads/relationships
  • Participate in company projects that support efficient company growth

  • Close deals within appropriate margins.
