Job Title: Public Relation / Marketing Manager

Location: Ikoyi Lagos

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all public relations activities.
• Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics plan and carry out PR campaigns and strategies.
• Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
• Monitoring the public and media’s opinion of the company and utilizing all forms of media, including national and trade press, to build, maintain and manage the portrayal of a business.
• Writing and editing press releases, leaflets, brochures, speeches, newsletters, websites, and social media content.
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Manage all marketing materials, website updates and social media presence on behalf of the company.
• Develop good working relationships with the media and liaising with the press on potential news stories. Monitoring publicity and press coverage for the company.
• Managing, arranging, and overseeing events.
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
• Proactively generate ways to advance the Company’s brand in digital media, speaking opportunities, conference participation and other forms of advertising and represent the company at events.
• Actively market and promote Company news and project development and property management.
• Responsible for the distribution and content development of the electronic company newsletter.
• Ensure documents and marketing materials are current, accurate and properly reflect the Company’s brand.

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline. M.Sc is an added advantage.
• At least 7 years working experience as a PR/Marketing Manager related role.
• A proven track record of successful PR campaigns.
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
• Knowledge of media production and communication.
• Excellent grasp of the English language.
• To be thorough and pay attention to details.
• Persistence and determination.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to sell products and services.
• Good computer skills.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Ability to think creatively and independently.
• Advanced design knowledge/experience.
• Ability to create and assemble attractive marketing materials.

Salary
N500,000 - N750,000 / Month (Negotiable)
