Rotation and Precision Machines Limited is a sales and procurement firm engaged in providing engineering solutions in all manufacturing sectors. RPM Limited specializes in the supply of power transmission products, bearings, conveyor spares, industrial hoses, tools, maintenance (predictive and preventive), lubrication, seals, pumps, valves, gaskets, electric motors, gears drives, standard sand, sealing adhesives, fasteners, vulcanizing components, welding solutions, automation parts, etc. The company's services also include technical support, installations, servicing, procurement services, consultancy, and surveys.
The role will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing existing brands & new brands that can be added to RPM's product catalog.
The position will also be responsible for growing the revenue generated from the products to an agreed level by building a robust clientele (and installed) through working with the sales engineering team and building other (additional) distribution channels.
Job Description
Own the achievement of the revenue targets for each of the brands in the company’s portfolio via personal sales through the sales engineering team and sales partnerships.
Identify and create access to new markets for company products and services
Develop, document, and implement a process for identifying, engaging with OEMs and onboarding products that fit our brand portfolio criteria.
Identify, engage and onboard deal makers (Partners) that would generate leads for the business.
Develop and implement a robust strategic recruitment approach and process to identify qualified partners
Prepare market analysis and market intelligence gathering to develop plans and strategies to locate and develop potential sales partners.
Continuously engage and work with OEMs and trading partners with underperforming products in our portfolio to grow the visibility of the products within their target markets.
Support the sales and project engineering teams on their sales calls by providing sales research, insights and product knowledge expertise to ensure they close deals
Develop and track KPIs to capture and measure product performance and carry out quarterly audits of product portfolios to identify low-performing products and build interventions to improve their performance.
Build business development plans containing product strategy, go-to-market plans, price & product positioning for each of the products within the product portfolio.
Identify sales/project prospects, grow relationships with gatekeepers and pitch the product.
Grow good working relationships with new prospects and transfer the connections to the sales engineering team.
Continually facilitate product training on what the products offer to partners and end-users.
Continually plan and oversee new marketing initiatives by working with RPM's marketing unit to develop and manage all publicity and awareness programs that will aid the adoption of the company's product.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related course.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in business development
Minimum of three (3) years experience in B2B Sales.
Engineering solutions Industry experience will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
Ability to plan, set goals, promote and improve service delivery.
Results-oriented, customer-focused, with a serious commitment to excellence.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
Self-motivated, analytical, and a team player.
