Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer (Relocate to Malta / Consulting / Big 4)

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and recommending technologies to improve delivery of Microsoft solutions.
• Building and maintaining repeatable infrastructure as code.
• Automation of deployments and workload configurationmanagement.
• Be a technological cloud advocate to a wider audience inside and outside of the business.
• Be part of internal innovation hubs and collaborate across the entire firm.
• Drive innovation by developing code base and automated deployments.
• Work on client projects and attend workshops as part of the SME team.
• Ability to build strong relationships and show technical expertise to deliver quality, client-centric solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Advocate innovation both within the firm and with clients and promotes collaboration amongst teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology, and style.
• Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion.
• Eagerness to learn and continually to develop.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in on premises or cloud technologies
• Experience or willingness to learn infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Experience with Azure IaaS (networking, storage, virtual machines).
• Experience of Azure Backup & Recovery Services.
• Experience of Azure SQL (Managed Instances & PaaS).
• Knowledge of Azure Governance (Blueprints, policies, tagging, cost management).
• Knowledge of Azure Security (NSG, ASG Sentinel, Security Centre, Defender, ACL, Azure Firewall, Policy).
• Knowledge of Azure identities (Azure AD, Service Principals, Managed Identities)
• On-premises infrastructure
• Azure migration experience
