Hub Event Manager at the Impression Hub

The Impression Hub is a co-working space that enables entrepreneurs and freelancers achieve their goals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hub Event Manager

Location: Akoka, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:

• Plan between 2 and 3 events monthly. These will revolve around the following topics
  • Marketing
  • Social Welfare
  • New and Exciting Technologies and their applications
  • Success Stories
• Invitation of a minimum of 2 Startup / Tech / Finance Industry Veterans to deliver presentations monthly to motivate Coworkers and the public at large
• Coordinate details of events
• Work with PR / Social Media Team to properly Sensitize the public on the events
• Ensure the Hub's brand is projected positively
• Ensure Staff have made adequate preparation for events
• Manage all the Event activities within Time Limits and Budgetary Constraints
• Work with Facility managers and cleaners to ensure events are delivered successfully
• Propose Ideas to improve services and service delivery
• Research to identify event planning opportunities.

Requirements

• The position requires someone with a confident personality and Significant Social Media presence in different platforms
• At least 2 years prior experience organizing events
• Background knowledge of the Coworking Culture / ecosystem, STEM fields and related careers, Startups / Startup Financing and How to Motivate People
• Extensive pool of relevant contacts in the Tech & Finance Industry.

Perks

• Salary: N50,000 - N60,000 Monthly.
• Free workspace use (Standard Space) available 3 times a week
• Four (4) Hours use of the Conference room every month
• One (1) days use of the Training room.
