Leisure & Hospitality Manager at a Leading Real Estate Development Company - Sigma Consulting Group

Sigma Consulting Group - Our client is a leading real estate development and services business in Africa. As they have expanded across Europe and into Africa, so did their knowledge of the industry and global trends. Their business, leisure and lifestyle destination and their ecosystem is currently made up of a diverse development portfolio of over 150,000sqm, which cuts across seven industries. These industries include commercial offices, retail developments, hospitality and conferencing facilities, a Leadership Academy.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Leisure & Hospitality Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: Chief Strategy Officer (Direct line) and Executive Committee Members (EXCO) (Vertical Line)

Job Responsibilities

• Drive leadership across all leisure and hospitality offerings within the Company.
• Create the long-term strategic direction for the Company’s Leisure Beach and the Hotel and Beach Resort
• Oversee all the different units/sections of the Company
• Drive budgets and budgetary performance of the Company’s Leisure Beach and Hotel
• Be responsible for all stakeholder management and liaise with management and board members
• Preparation of quarterly investor reporting for the Leisure Beach and the Hotel
• Drive adoption of data and analytics in decision making across all hospitality offerings
• Oversee financial management, revenue assurance and business reporting for the Beach and Hotel
• Seek out and create strategic partnerships for initiatives for the growth of the business
• Drive customer experience across all leisure and hospitality offerings within the Group
• Creation of synergies and cohesion between all components of Leisure and Hospitality within the Group
• Be responsible for overall footfall strategy across all leisure and hospitality offerings
• Ensure achievement of key targets and business performance indicators across all leisure and hospitality
• Work with the strategy and business development team in creating new leisure and hospitality offerings
• Drive events and activities as well as UEPs (Unified Ecosystem Packages) with the Leisure and hospitality offerings.

Qualifications

• First Degree, Advanced Degrees accepted. Hospitality or leisure related Degree will be an advantage
• Out of country experience either through education or employment is a significant requirement
• Experience in hospitality or leisure related organizations is a requirement.
• Minimum of five (5) years post-graduation experience in leisure, hospitality or service delivery organization would be an advantage.
