Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Palmgrove, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members. They also assist with payroll management, so employees receive their paychecks on time.
• Monitor all human resource objectives and assist to re structure workforce and develop and implement all human resource processes and ensure efficiency of same.
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process and also create and implement effective onboarding plans.
• Develop training and development programs as well as assisting in performance management processes.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues and also provide counseling on policies and procedures
• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements including reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

Job Specification

• BS.c / BA in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience as HR officer, administrator orother HR position.
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities as well strong multitasking skills.
• Critical thinking and innovative ability
• Ability to work in a team.
