We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Report Line: This Role Reports directly to the Accounts Manager

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and address any problems that may have occurred while serving the patron.
• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations.
• Complete financial transactions for customers such as issuing vouchers, and receipts, completing refunds and exchanges and returning change or credits as necessary.
• Keep track of all cash and credit transactions.
• Utilize various devices such as point-of-sale systems, credit card readers, cash registers, and calculators to tabulate bills, calculate change, and create receipts. 
• Maintain checkout equipment by completing frequent cleaning and restocking of cash and receipt paper, and communicate with technical personnel when necessary to facilitate repairs and upgrades.
• Generate reliable and accurate till reports from every register.
• Resolve cash tills when closing, ensuring the money matches the report and is stored safely.
• Filing orders, and carrying out suggestive selling while managing all cash issued and received during shifts.
• Switch roles quickly between performing major tasks and smaller tasks including clearing trash, cleaning the pavilion, restocking, assist other personnel in quickly rounding up and closing the lounge for the night.
• Handle other duties as may be assigned due to the exigencies of the business.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.
