Job Summary

• Our client is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for software quality assurance within the Digital Team.
• In this role, he/she will be working directly with the product and software development teams in managing key products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to understand product goal and identify system requirements
• Participate actively in Unit, Integration, API, and Regression testing
• Write test cases for each user journey Schedule automated tests to run periodically, monitor test results, analyze failures, and report issues.
• Document test cases, corresponding results, and defects
• Review defect feedback for testing improvements
• Identify test scenario for automation
• Write and integrate automated REST API, Browser based tests.
• Carry out Performance / Load / Stress and Security Testing
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs and monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects.
• Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 2nd class lower in first degree (Professional Qualifications is an advantage).
• 2 - 3 years Software Testing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices.
• Good background in ICT industry, consulting, and business advisory.

• Demonstrable work experience in software development
• Demonstrable work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Good experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands on experience with automated testing tools
• Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Exacting attention to detail, picking up on the details that others miss
