Our mission is to transform individuals, families, and communities out of poverty into lasting well-being by connecting bright minds to complex challenges plaguing people around the globe. Since our inception, we have been integrating volunteers into worthy non-profits and charities around the world. Every year our volunteers travel to work on projects in collaboration with communities in Africa, South America, Europe, and Asia.

• Venture 2 Impact is seeking a marketing and communications specialist to help us tell impact stories about our work, engage corporate partners and increase our brand awareness.

What You’ll Love Doing

• Developing marketing and promotional strategy and materials for a company or product, including brand management, advertising, and web and sales collateral
• Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends
• Lead in preparation of long- and short-term marketing plans, budgets
• Planning, developing, and directing multiple avenues of marketing strategies to drive sales
• Overseeing social media accounts and websites to engage existing customers and establish positive public relations
• Implementing search engine optimization (SEO) in online media
• Researching trends and new marketing opportunities, and brainstorming ideas
• Communicating and negotiating with ad agencies, employees, marketing staff, editors, and writers
• Addressing problems and troubleshooting campaigns
• Analyzing customer feedback and campaign performance
• Develop and edit communication materials like newsletters, blogs, press releases and similar marketing materials in order to promote Venture 2 Impact work, services and impact.
• Implement company’s communication plan in order to increase brand awareness.
• Develop overall communications strategy for the company
• Measure and analyze current communications efforts.
• Work with different departments to generate new ideas and innovative strategies.
• Develop and manage relationships with key media players to secure and grow media online and offline coverage.
• Write press releases for local, national and international media.
• Amplify opportunities for positive Public Release.
• Ensure communications consistency among different stakeholders.
• Communicate brand values to both internal and external customers and stakeholders.

What Skills You’ll Need to Get the Job Done

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Economics or other relevant fields.
• 3 - 5 years of experience working in a similar role.
• Proven strong presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools and techniques in social media.
• Knowledge of SGDs, ESG and nonprofit space is an asset
• Proactivity, self motivation and the ability to meet deadlines
• Creativity in developing relevant marketing content
• Highly developed project and time management skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Project and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organization and planning skills with great attention to detail
• A focus on curiosity and co-creation
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Commitment to excellent service for relevant stakeholders
• Focus on continuous improvement and optimization
• Ability to work independently in a remote, deliverable oriented environment
• Have experience volunteering would be considered an asset.

Salary
USD700 - USD850 Monthly.
