Job Description

• Responsible for developing and executing solutions that make our customers processes easier and their lives better. Identify the needs and requirements of users, identify problems, developing user and data driven solutions while balancing customer and business needs

Responsibilities

• Develop product design strategy
• Identify user goals and needs and translate them into problems to be solved
• Create intuitive and suitable user-centered solutions using design thinking methodologies
• Leverage and synthesize data from multiple sources to create informed solutions for users
• Employ empathy when designing for users
• Have a deep understanding of user psychology
• Create user flows, personas, wireframes, sitemaps etc
• To foster ideation and solution creation and accurately communicate solutions to other stakeholders
• Conduct user research to identify user pain points and validate solutions
• Work in collaboration with many stakeholders from cross functional teams, including product management, business, risk, compliance, software engineers etc
• Ability to document design decisions for later reference and records keeping
• Employ user data, research and team input to generate interaction concepts that enable seamless and relevant experiences for their users
• Great understanding of responsive grid-based layouts
• Deep understanding of information architecture and user psychology
• Design seamless interactions for user touch-points across many Interswitch products
• Creating wireframes and prototypes that illustrate key product interactions
• Effectively communicate and defend concepts
• Well versed in graphic design, motion graphics, typography, colour, layout and other design principles
• Design easy-to-use, pixel-perfect aesthetically pleasing user interfaces
• Ability to use tools like Figma, AdobeXD, Whimsical, Miro etc
• Prototyping tools like Figma, Invision Studio, Principle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Design, Fine Art or any related field
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Visual and/or Multimedia design
• 5 years’ experience with product design (UI/UX)
