We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Security Manager

Location: Kaduna
Job Type: Full-time

Purpose of the Job

• Provide adequate security protection of all personnel and assets in the Kudenda Upgrade Project.

Key Accountabilities

• Organize and oversee all security operations at the project site.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards in the project sites.
• Provide surveillance and emergency response.
• Proper documentation of all items received for the project as well as the issuance.
• Manage all Security functions, activities, and accommodation in the company’s Guest Houses/Hotels for the project team.
• Ensure security of lives and properties in project sites.
• Coordinate pick up and drop off the project team members.
• Develop and implement security/safety policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
• Supervise security operatives and guards.
• Attend meetings with the project installation teams to determine operational needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific project events/requests.
• Organise weekend outings for the project team members with the approval of the Manager.
• Coordinate project personnel when responding to emergencies and alarms.
• Review reports on incidents and breaches to the Manager.
• Investigate and resolve security and safety issues.
• Assess security situations within and around Kaduna State and respond to security situations accordingly.
• Ensure the safety of staff and customers within the project sites
• Perform security process evaluations and inspections.
• Create reports for management on security/Safety status.
• Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols.
• Ensure staff compliance to security procedures and guidelines.
• Respond to security alerts outside the project working hours.
• Supervise evacuation of approved scraps by scrap buyers from project site.

VIP Escort:

• Provide Escort Services for all project teams from outside Kaduna.
• Provide armed escort for visiting expatriates and other VIPs.
• Ensures no expatriates go out without your knowledge for any reason.
• Updates the manager and CSM weekly expatriates’ status.
• Monitor issuance of spares from the storage containers.
• Daily vetting of container locks for integrity.          

Recruitment and Selection Criteria
Level of Education:

• Qualification: B.Sc.
• Field of Education: Social Science / Engineering.
• Experience: Retired Police Officer, Corporate Security personnel

Languages:

• Hausa & English (Compulsory)
