CcHUB is Nigeria’s first open living lab and pre-incubation space being designed to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place. The HUB is a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, government, tech companies, impact investors and hackers in and around Lagos to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria.

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with  React.js and React-native.
• Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows.
• You will ensure that these components and overall applications are robust and easy to maintain.
• You will coordinate with the rest of the team to deliver a working product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, and quality product is important.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Developing new user facing features using React.js and React native.
• Building reusable components using React concepts.
• Translating designs and wireframes into quality code.
• Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js,React-native, and their core principles
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Understanding and ability to use version control tools i.e Git
• Experience with debugging using dev tools.
• Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices and Agile software development.
• Experience working with Docker, Typescript, and GraphQL/Apollo would be a plus.
• Experience or aptitude for implementing scalable software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
