We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: UI / UX Designer

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Summary

• A full-time remote UI Designer with a record of work that shows your proficiency in designing user interfaces for websites.
• You love what you do and are not satisfied with the bare minimum when breathing life into your design.
• While you understand the importance of design conventions, you’re not willing to do what everyone is doing as you’re motivated to create unique designs that resonate with the target audience and are beautiful to behold.
• You’re also determined to always be the best version of yourself by taking on new challenges and improving your skills.

What You Will Do

• Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs and prototypes of websites
• Create website pattern libraries and design systems
• Create mood boards to establish a project’s creative direction
• Ability to communicate design thoughts and processes
• Collaborate with developers to ensure consistency of the design as it’s being brought to life
• Participate in project briefings and UX research sessions to understand the project thoroughly
• Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. colour theory, visual weight, etc.)
• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.

Your Forte

• Proficiency in industry-standard tools preferably Figma or XD
• Ability to prototype UI designs
• Full grasp of design principles like responsive design and similar web standards
• Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
• Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Effective persuasion skills
• Good Presentation Skills
• Ability to multitask

Salary
N220,000 monthly.
