• Candidates for the Basic Medical Sciences department must possess Ph.D degree from a recognized institution. Possession of a registrable medical degree will be an added advantage.

Qualification:

• Candidates must possess qualifications similar to those of Professors as above. Candidates must have a minimum of two years as a Senior Lecturer in a University or an Institution of similar standing.
• Final consideration of appointment as professor or Reader will be made after positive report on the assessment of publications and interview.

47.)  Senior Lecturer

Salary Scale: Conuass 5 i.e., N1653,415.00 – N2,348,299.00 p.a

Qualification

• Candidates must possess Ph.D degree from a recognized institution or MBBS and registrable Postgraduate Fellowship (by examination) in a related discipline. For candidates with Ph.D degree, MBBS will be an advantage
• Candidates for Senior Lecturerhip must demonstrate evidence of teaching in a University or an institution of similar standing and contribution to knowledge in the form of scholarly publication in reputable journals. Qualification

• Candidates for Lecturer 1 must demonstrate evidence of teaching in a University or an institution of similar standing and contribution to knowledge in the form of scholarly publication in reputable journals.

49.)  Deputy Director of Academic Planning

Salary Scale: Contiss 14 i.e., N1,820,908 – N2,381,772 p.a

Qualification

• Candidates must possess a good first Degree preferably in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field etc from a recognised University and must have served in a University for at least 12 years.
• Membership of relevant professional body, Postgraduate qualification and ICT competency will be advantages.
• A suitable candidate must have been a Deputy Director for 3 years.

Salary Scale: Contiss 15 i.e., N2,232,199 – N2,875,791.00 p.a

Qualification

• A good honours degree in Engineering preferably Civil, of a recognized University and full registration with COREN with at least 15 years post qualification cognate experience in a University or comparable institution.
• Successful candidate must be able to show evidence of administrative ability.
