Blazing Heart Autism Centre is a Non-Governmental Organization committed to inclusion and development of individuals with autism and related developmental disorders. The organisation was established in 2009, and has been working to create awareness and provide quality therapy services for individuals with special needs.

Our goal is to facilitate the totality of every person found with autism into self-sustaining members of society regardless of background or gender through the provision of good quality education and therapy for persons with autism. We achieve this through: The provision of behavioural, speech, occupational and other therapies and offering functional support for families with special needs individuals through our consultations, awareness and training programs.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Special Needs Therapist

Location: Yenegoa, Bayelsa
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
You will be expected to:

• Undergo regular trainings and ertification programs
• Execute IEPs and provide regular progress reports on clients.

Requirements
Ideal Candidate:

• Must possess a minimum of a BSc preferably in Psychology or Special Needs Education
• Should be resident in Bayelsa
• Must be passioante about working with special needs children
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as RBT would be an added advantage.
