Job Description

• As our Senior Color Designer - Classics/Vault, you'll deliver product vision and execution of seasonal projects aligned to the overarching *lifestyle creative direction and project briefs!
• As a key voice in Color Design for Classics, you will partner with Design Leadership to set creative direction for ourproduct collection within a specific business dimension; drive the color launch strategy for complex and defining models; you also may be asked to lead and/or captain special projects!
• You will be responsible for reviewing all samples to achieve marketable solutions review with designs, marketing and development as well as handoffs and clear cross-functional communication.
• You'll use advanced design skills to build original, innovative color solutions for category or gender-specific line. In addition to advancing design image, and inspiring targeted consumers, you'll research and deliver color, design, market and cultural trends that influence and impact the product category process from product briefing, through product concept, to samples.
• In this role, you will apply knowledge of activity, consumer & their culture to build compelling narratives and appealing product executions. You will build presentation materials that optimally communicate color direction and present to appropriate groups.
• You will advance the value of Color to Learnsoft Consulting Integrated Limited by bringing a high level of functional expertise (i.e. materials, special effects, technology, advanced development, presentation, and tools) to the color design organization.

Who You Will Work With:

• In partnership with the Category and Design Director, you'll create and lead color merchandising strategies and stories seasonally. You will also contribute to seasonal color strategy for products, line segments and initiatives as well as create seasonal category-specific direction of color, materials and graphics.
• You will collaborate cross-functionally across Design, Product Marketing, Merchandising, Development and Material Consulting to build application strategies and a compelling color palette that are right for the consumer and culturally relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Creatively explore new ways to bring the color vision of Learnsoft to life on key franchises.
• Support in palette creation, seasonal research, design presentations: physical and digital.
• Support team in efficient color strategy across inline design projects.
• Support high level of detail within key franchises (color matching capabilities, multi-round sample reviews, swatches, development details).
• Create technical color CADs and supporting documents for Collection design projects.
• Deliver/present color CAD handovers to the cross-functional team while meeting all deadlines.
• Work closely with Product Creation Team to kick-off color work and track samples for review.
• Collaborate closely with the Brand Motion and Identity Design team.
• Collaborate closely with the Analysis Team.
• Engage with Creative Teams across theorganization.
• Support the Design team when setting up for design review sessions.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a College or University in a relevant Design subject or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in design environment (Accessories/Color - industrial design, fashion design or similar design related areas)
• Digital acumen in Design based software (e.g. Macintosh computers & Adobe Creative Suite)
• Master of the product design creative process and development process
• Strong understanding of the art & science of color design
• Strong color sensibility & deep cultural awareness
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work through complex and ambiguous projects while maintaining positivity, productivity, and speed.
• Ability to quickly shift focus whendesign direction changes.
• Problem solving attitude & can-do personality. Proven ability to find success through challenges.
• Proficient understanding of the product creation process.
• Proficient knowledge of complex color, materials, construction, and production.
• Strong color CAD tech pack efficiency
• Strong knowledge and use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Color analysis skillset for sample achievability, direction, and communication.
• Color exploration skills.
• Color exploration through 3D programs (not required, but beneficial).
• Proficient presentation and communication skills.
• High level of creativity
• High level of urgency, initiative & maturity
• High level of organization skills
• Ability to work with teammates on the ground and in remote locations.
• Must have a Team first mindset.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Salary: N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
• HMO Benefits will commence after 6 months of confirmation.
