We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Supervisor

Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Factory Supervisor is responsible for assigning the daily tasks to machine operators and ensuring that all daily tasks and targets are met. The supervisor must provide a detailed daily report of jobs done to the MD at the close of work.
• The Factory Supervisor must ensure all factory workers must resume their duty posts by 9AM sharp and remain at their machines except for 2 permitted bathroom breaks per staff and a 30 min lunch break.
• The Factory supervisor must ensure a seamless flow of work by instructing the factory laborers on the timely movement of materials to and from different sections of the factory when necessary in accordance with the daily schedule.
• The Factory Supervisor must ensure that the factory entrances are shut at all times and only customers with gate pass can access the factory.
• The Factory supervisor must account for all customer materials after processing including the remnants of the materials processed.
• When a customer’s job is ready for pick up, the Factory supervisor must request for their receipt, and sign their receipt before authorizing any pick up.
• The Factory supervisor must ensure that customer jobs are neat, complete and must periodically perform measurement checks to ensure they are accurately processed.
• The Factory supervisor must ensure that the customer picks up ALL their materials processed including and especially the remnant materials as the factory does not permit the storing of remnants.

Requirements

• OND or Higher.
• Good track record with heading factory workers with emphasis to woodworking or joinery factories.
• Works well under pressure.
• Result oriented
• Well acquainted with deadlines and targets
• Accountable and can command accountability from junior workers.
• Good Communication skills
• Well acquainted with record keeping
• Potential leadership Qualities.
• Good man management skills.
• Age 30 - 36

Working Hours:

• Mondays: Fridays 8:30am - 6pm
• Saturdays: 9am - 3pm

Salary and Allowances

• Entry level salary is N70,000 Monthly
• Entitled to Weekly allowance of N1,500
• Entitled to weekly milk and Soda refreshment.
