Job Title: Product / Project Manager (Hybrid)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients,and software developers.
• Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies,and indicating tests and maintenance.
• Handling pre- sales activities including communication, analysis, documentation handling, and agreements signing to be sent and received from clients
• Take charge of coordinating and developing winning proposals and bids for the company
• Define go-to-market strategy, product strategy, and product road map forin-house products Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Breakdown project requirements into user stories and feature specifications Setup project back log on project boards
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer needs
• Manage project delivery using Scrum methodology including sprint planning,daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives,and reviews
• Direct on product designs and feature workflows by providing sketches and flowcharts to further assist software engineers and product designers in understanding tasks
• Lead/collaborate with the development team to successful implementation and delivery on projects and products
• Be in constant communication with team members to track their progress and determine any challenges they might be facing.
• Manage project communications and be the liaison between the company and clients, providing relevant information where necessary, and making formal and informal status updates to all stakeholder
• Coordinate and oversee the testing of applications/ features developed by software engineers on projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2- 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent product management skills and capabilities
• Good working knowledge of project management techniques
• Strong understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts and ecosystem. You must be able to identify possible use cases and application of blockchain to various types of solutions, especially commerce / retail.
• Ability to create and deliver great presentations internally and to clients
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. The ability to use sketching and/ or product design tools (e.g.Figma, Sketch, InVision, Canva) is an advantage
• Good technical background and knowledge.
• Good understanding and conversance with blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts
• Previous experience in a technology- enabled commerce
• Good understanding or certification in Scrum is a distinct advantage.
