About the Role
As the Treasury Analyst at TeamApt, you will be responsible for understanding our money flows and how to optimize these flows.
We currently move money to and from the customers who operate on our payments platforms, to and from our partner banks via our own rails and those of processing partners, and also move money for our own operational needs.
This role will therefore be responsible for monitoring our day-to-day treasury management including FX exposure management.
The Treasury Analyst will also work closely with product and finance teams to build systems and processes to support the automation of our money flows.
Responsibilities
What you’ll get to do:
Maintain a strong working relationship with banks, payment processors and other payment partners including monitoring the timely execution of key treasury transactions.
Lead the design of an automated treasury management system to ensure all our treasury flows are streamlined and can be monitored on a real-time basis. This will include developing automated dashboards to report on cash balances and movements on a real-time basis
Develop and implement initiatives to improve liquidity management processes, liquidity monitoring, treasury controls and other processes in the treasury department.
Review all financial information processed and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and cash balances
Develop risk management policies to ensure all our money movements meet regulatory requirements and within set thresholds
Support cash flow forecasting activities to ensure we have optimal liquidity to support our operating needs
Support the process of intercompany borrowing, capital repatriation activities and ensure any foreign currency exposures are monitored and appropriately managed
Manage ad hoc treasury projects such as data analysis, data requests and audit queries.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, we think you should have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or its equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of in-depth treasury experience, preferably in the financial sector.
Strong exposure to end-to-end treasury activities including liquidity management and foreign exchange.
Experience with SQL and other data visualization tools
Strong understanding of the payments and banking industry
Excellent communication skills.
