Job Brief

• Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content.
• Brainstorms campaign ideas.
• Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Works alongside management to increase brand awareness through the usage of social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
• Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast).
• Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
• Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
• Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
• Oversee and develop the social media graphics for all profiles: Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
• Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
• Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

• Must working knowledge of Canva or its equivalent, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office 365, Google Suite
• Must have a working knowledge of the different Social Media Platforms
• Must have knowledge of content management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Post Planner, or its equivalent
• Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research.
• Is proficient in and/or certified in Google Analytics.
• Prior industry experience is preferred
• Must be highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers.
