General Manager / Senior Manager - New Product Development at One of Nigeria's Telecommunication, ISP and Technology Flagship Companies

In order to meet our ongoing expansion plans, we are recruiting vibrant, resourceful, innovative and very experienced individuals to strengthen our Marketing team in the position below:

Job Title: General Manager / Senior Manager - New Product Development

Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

• Own the New Product Development Process in Marketing
• Study the market/industry scenario and identify opportunities and develop products and services to address them.
• Continuously engage with Sales Team and Service team, hold focused group discussions industry meets, workshops to get the first hand feel of the customer requirement(s).
• Develop products/concepts which would be disruptive innovations in the Nigerian market.
• Develop & execute partnership strategy for new product offerings.
• Responsible for meeting revenue targets from New Products
• Identify potential partners to develop new Marketing Initiatives in order to enhance product and brand differentiation in the market and also fill the gaps in the product portfolio
• Competition monitoring & benchmarking and analysis of their product offerings.
• Lead Cross functional teams to ensure Concept to Execution process is seamless.
• Continuously review processes, controls, and systems to give recommendations for improvement in quality, efficiency & TAT Coordinate with alliance team to identify OTT vendors and other Software companies which can provide the necessary technology to power the new products
• Define the necessary product KPIs to ensure periodical performance monitoring.
• Prepare daily reports, weekly presentations on the New Product Launch, performance and benchmark the same with competition.
• Organize Regular meetings with Partners on new and existing products/initiatives, hold workshops and training campaigns, coordinate with Marcom team for joint promotions.
• Design and implement necessary analytics to measure and optimize Partnerships & Alliances.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• B.Tech or B.Sc in Computer Science. MBA would be an added advantage.
• Product Management experience in Telecom/IT sector for more than 10 years, having developed & promoted Telecom Digital products.
• Cloud, SaaS and Al experience would be advantage
• Should know Digital marketing concepts and tools
• Proficient in MS Office, Visio and SQL
• Good Organizational Presentation and communications skills both verbal & written
• Analytical and a problem-solving mindset.
