Job Title: Senior Product Designer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 1 - 2 months

The Role

• We are currently putting together the foundational team and are looking to bring on a digital product designer to work on the development of our MVP in a fixed-term/freelance role. This is an opportunity to be a part of something impactful and unique.
• The role will initially be a freelance role for a month with the opportunity to join the team full-time afterwards.
• The core end-goal of this role is to design the functional User Interface for Braudit’s platform.

Duties

• Defining Product Specifications.
• User Research, Analysis and User Profiling.
• Design of wireframes for product development.
• Design of Product Prototypes and Functionality test.
• Product Analysis to determine product-market fit.
• Creation of original brand assets for the product.
• Identification of opportunities for the product.

The Ideal Candidate

• We are looking for someone with significant experience in UI/UX design and a strong portfolio of live products.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and will be skilled in quantitative & qualitative user research.
• Passion & Commitment to our vision is also a very important determinant for who we choose.

The ideal candidate should:

• B.Sc / MSc in Graphic / Product Design or any other relevant field (not essential).
• Have at least 2 years’ work experience as a digital product designer or User Interface designer in or with a notable company (essential).
• Have experience working with a start-up.
• Hands-on experience in designing lo-fi & hi-fi wireframes with Figma, Adobe XD etc.
• Have experience with user research and hands on experience using research tools e.g., Survey Monkey, SPSS etc. and techniques.
• Able to work under-pressure.
• Have strong time-management skills.
• Be adaptable.
• Strong knowledge of brand concepts.
• Good knowledge of product marketing strategies.
• Be a risk taker.
• Creative in the use of colours, shapes and techniques.

Remuneration
N180,000 - N260,000 Monthly.
