Nitori is a restaurant whose specialty is the satisfaction of its customers by providing healthy and affordable meals, drinks, pastries and other related food products. Nitori also renders cooking services for private or non-private occasions, marriage ceremonies, and meetings within and outside Abuja.

Job Summary

• We are looking for a talented disc jockey to connect with listeners in our lounge. As a DJ, you will be responsible for engaging with listeners, queueing up playlists, presenting commercials, performing interviews, taking music requests, and generating interest in the show.
• You may also be required to MC public events and perform meet and greets.
• To ensure success as a disc jockey, you should have a natural charisma, a passion for music, and the ability to connect with people. A top-notch DJ connects with listeners through engaging talk content and social interaction.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the weekly and daily playlist.
• Handling the karaoke setup
• Taking music requests and engaging with listeners.
• Interviewing guests.
• Mixing and playing music at events.
• Operate lighting and visual effects in time to the beat
• Play and mix records in loungeto create atmosphere or keep people dancing
• Choose music to suit your audience’s taste
• Create your own sounds by manipulating beats, using samples, adding extra music and sound effects
• Choose the music to be played
• Keep up an entertaining and natural flow of events
• Operateequipment to play music
• Keep to a very tight timing schedule

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Demonstrable experience as a DJ.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of modern music trends.
• Good presenting skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to empathize with listeners.
