Trino Studios Limited (TSL) and its subsidiary Trino Motion Pictures Limited (TMP) are engaged in the rental of filmmaking equipment and facilities as well as the production and distribution of motion pictures. Trino Motion Picture’s current target is to build up its film library by shooting and releasing at least two feature films every year, while Trino Studios aims to continue acquiring high quality filmmaking equipment and we currently have some of the best world-class studio facilities in the country.

Job Title: Senior Legal Officer

Job Description

• There is a vacancy for a Senior Legal Officer
• The ideal candidate will perform a variety of legal related tasks like draft, review, interpret and negotiate a high volume of contracts and related documents, such as agreements for directors, actors, writers, licensing, rights acquisition, services, below-the-line agreements and more.
• He or she would perform variety of legal support and advisory services on behalf of the company. 

Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
• Must have been called to the Bar
• Master’s in law (LLM) / MBA Degree will be an added advantage
• Being a member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) or similar institutes will be an added advantage
• 4+ years of legal post qualification experience
• Experienced with Intellectual property, content management and licensing is required.
• Strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills
• Proactive, excellent attention to detail and a well-organized approach to work
• Knowledgeable about company law, intellectual property law and their application;
• A sound grasp of corporate governance issues
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
• Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and works well without supervision
• A strategic thinker; comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to work through challenging situations;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, partners or clients at all levels.
