The company is deeply committed to ensuring that ordering and getting cakes for occasions is seamless and fun. The core team has some serious experience and has successfully produced and delivered over 10,000 cakes unscathed in Lagos.

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original texts and video content, managing posts, and responding to social media followers.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing social media strategies to align with business goals
• Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
• Collaborating with other teams (for example Customer service, production, and logistics teams to ensure excellent brand images are portrayed.
• Communicating with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner, and monitoring customer’s reviews.
• Overseeing all social media accounts on various platforms
• Performing research on current trends and audience preferences
• Suggesting and implementing new features to build brand awareness
• Overseeing our company’s interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms’ content strategies.
• Handling social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
• Setting specific, smart objectives and targets
• Staying up-to-date with current technologies utilized by our target audience in the digital space.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in any related field
• Must have completed National Youth Service Corps(NYSC)
• Must be at least 2 years post-NYSC
• Proven work experience as a Social media manager
• Must be willing to work onsite ie at our physical office
• Must have extensive knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and other social media platforms
• Must be able to excellently utilize social media ads, PPC, buffer, canva, and other digital tools
• Must be able to neatly edit videos and use Instagram reels extensively
• Hands-on experience in content planning and strategy.
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video) and craft catchy write-ups
• Analytical and multitasking skills
• Must be able to work on some Sundays and holidays.
• Should be willing to work with the company long term.
• Working Days: 23 days a month.
• Must live around Ikeja and its environs.
