We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

• Perform a variety of professional cleaning activities Premises-Wide such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing in the rooms, reception area, corridor, public toilets and external surroundings of the hotel.
• Ensure all rooms are sellable by adhering strictly to Best In Practice standards for Housekeeping
• Perform check on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances that could lead to service failure.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Follow laid down procedures to linens management and ensure proper planning to avoid stock out
• Make beds, ensure bathrooms are clean, dust furnishings and walls, replace room service items and dirty linen as at when due
• Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
• Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
• Ensure flammable materials are properly stored
• Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always
• Keep proprietary information confidential
• Provide assistance to guests with disabilities
• Genuinely appreciate and thank guests for their visit
• Apply professional language in communicating with guests and other people
• Provide support to team to achieve common goals.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an FSLC qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
