We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring all scrum-based activities are completed promptly, this includes defining and organising scrum roles, sprint planning, daily standup, etc.
• The Scrum Master will work with the Product and Development teams to review and develop the scrum artefacts including the product backlog.

Responsibilities
What you'll do:

• Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions.
• Coordinate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone.
• Ensure deliverables are up to the quality and required standards at the end of each sprint.
• Facilitate Internal communication and effective collaboration among teams to achieve results.
• Track project processes and deliverables.
• Manage tasks, issues, risks, conflicts, and action items.
• Manage each project’s scope and timeline.
• Create and deliver a reporting framework for both teams and management.
• Support the Product & Development teams and provide education and/or clarity where necessary.

Requirements
What we are looking for:

• Relevant experience in a Scrum Master or Project Manager role in the financial services industry.
• Experience managing projects using Scrum techniques, artifacts, and other Agile frameworks.
• Understanding of efficient stakeholder management.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Scrum Master certification is an added advantage.
