We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Plumbing Technician (Plumber)

Role Purpose Statement

• This role is to ensure efficient functioning of plumbing related equipment and maintenance of same.
• The aim is to ensure that these functions are carried out effectively and efficiently, in harmony and in accordance with company’s operational standards and policies

Key Interfaces Internal:

• Office of the Managing Director, Branch Manager, Area Manager Sales, Warehouse; TPL and other business functions.

Key Interfaces External:

• Vendors / Contractors

Main Accountabilities

• Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at all outlets.
• Perform installation of plumbing systems at new outlets
• Inspect previously installed plumbing systems and perform any necessary repairs.
• Maintain and repair damaged dish washers, broken pipes, clogged drains, drainage pipes, sanitary wares, water supply systems etc.
• Maintain boreholes, pumps, and other associated accessories.
• Clear obstructions from sink, clogged drainages, toilets etc.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on time

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

• No. of fault attended to and resolved within 24hrs
• No of inspection conducted and concluded within 24hrs
• No. of faulty equipment attended to within 24hrs
• % Of employee satisfaction achieved
• Timely response to faults and repairs

Education, Experience & Technical Skills

• OND / Technical certificate in plumbing or Similar Studies
• At least 3 years proven experience in similar positions having supervisory responsibilities.

Other Required Competencies:

• Sound Knowledge of plumbing
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems
• Ability to trouble shoot and solve challenges, painstaking with detail
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and must have the ability to multitask.
• Good communication skills, and basic computer literacy
• Good time management & organizational skills
• Ability to work proactively, organize and manage own work
