Hospital Cleaner / Housekeeper at BARIEL Medical Center (BMC)

BARIEL Medical Center is a newly established modern acute-care hospital located in the Port Harcourt, Rivers State. BMC provides General Medical and Surgical healthcare services (outpatient and inpatient) with consultations and specialized services for the whole family (Adults and Pediatric).

We are recruiting a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hospital Cleaner / Housekeeper

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies in relation to cleaning hospital environment
• Appropriately dispose of general and medical waste products and document the procedure involved accordingly.
• Use various types of cleaning and disinfecting agents and equipment, like washing machines, etc.
• Performs other duties, as may be necessary or assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a SSCE or equivalent qualification with 1 - 2 years’ work experience.
• Hands-on work experience as Cleaner/House keeper
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Must have good command of written and spoken English and use of Hospital computer/software systems.
