Job Summary

• We are looking to hire a Head of Admin.
• You will have an interesting role of leading your own team and coordinating an organization’s administrative system and general workflows.
• You will be responsible for supporting, developing and implementing strategic plans in accordance with the company's mission and vision statements, managing the administrative function of the company, and co-ordinating office processes and procedures to ensure organizational and operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• The following are some of the exciting projects you will be working on and responsible for:
• Ensuring the company is operating securely and effectively while guiding the organization’s administrative and facility activities
• Sourcing and engaging reliable vendors and negotiating with them to secure advantageous terms
• Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures to manage the affairs of the Retail team at the centers with customers/clients
• Developing and promoting policies that ensure positive interaction and relation between the retail team and customers/clients
• Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and monitoring operating expenses
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Initiate measures to protect the interests of the organization from the adverse effects of misconduct arising as a result of the actions of the internal and external customers
• Establish solid relationships with Police and other security arms; Law enforcement agents for the benefits of Jiji Cars

Requirements
We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:

• HND or B.Sc in Business Administration or any related field
• Experience as an Administrative Manager; 6-8 years experience is required
• Experience in office management procedures, facilities management principles and legal policies
• Experience in vendor management
• Experience in the car industry an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills and analytical mindset
• Experience leading others
• Data-driven approach to decision making.
