WorQulture - Our client, a Smart Card and Digital Security Service company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Work Hours: Mondays - Fridays (8am-6pm)
Availability to start: As soon as possible

Job Summary

• Our client is in search of a Quality Control Officer who will ensure high quality of output with minimal wastage and ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard.
• The ideal candidate must establish and enforce appropriate controls in the card production process whilst checking incoming and outgoing materials or products for the company.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance standards
• Devise sampling procedures for recording and reporting quality of output
• Conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
• Investigate customer complaints and rejected orders
• Compile and analyze statistical data from the production process to identify trends and areas for improvement. Create dashboards to monitor the process
• Develop, recommend and monitor preventive and corrective actions to improve the production process
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
• Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with set regulations

Key Requirements of the Role

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND
• 2 years quality control experience in a financial, manufacturing or production sector
• Excellent communication skills i.e. both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills
• Have keen attention to details
• Creative mind, ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exceptionally smart-working, detailed, and well organized
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
• Must have the mandatory NYSC certificate.

Remuneration
N70,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
