Job Title: Senior Front End Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join their team to add value to our AI lending platform (Fintech/React).
• The team consists of innovators and builders with domain expertise in lending. They share a determination to continue leveraging data-driven approaches to problem-solving by building products that the market needs and API integrations that drive value across the board.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, developing, and implementing the design of the product
• Participating in the UX testing process in order to make user-lead design choices
• Suggesting and developing features that enhance user experience and enjoyment
• Compile necessary documentation
• Taking part and proposing proactive actions in design review processes
• Maintaining and monitoring the products and fixing and troubleshooting as necessary
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design

Experience and Skills

• 4-5+ years minimum of experience in React
• 5+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer with Product Design skills
• Solid experience with design tools like Figma
• Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
• Experience in full life cycle of the product design and development process
• Experience setting up development environments, and rapidly learning new technologies
• Experience with graphic design applications is a plus
• Experience with writing frontend reusable packages
• Experience with optimizing applications to scale
• Strong ability to mentor frontend junior engineers
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design of UI/UX
• Understanding of SEO principles
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Understand and implement frontend security best practices

Salary
N1,000,000 / month.
