Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Aboute the Job

• We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to embody a hybrid role of offering backend support while liaising with the customer support team.
• You will be responsible for writing tests and supporting the end-to-end test process.
• Whilst this is an Engineering hire, your role will directly impact the customer-facing aspects of the business.
• You will ensure that our customers view our products as high-quality and functional.
• This will be accomplished by running various components and features to identify and fix technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E, regression, performance, etc.)
• Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)
• Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followed
• Run quality controls on components and final products
• Write and develop test environments and test cases
• Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes
• Suggest fixes and improvements
• Document technical issues and solutions
• Build automated testing systems for regular checks
• Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards
• Liaise directly with the customer support team to ensure you are proactive in real-time
• Whilst collaborating with the team, you’ll ensure our final products meet our quality standards

Job Requirements

• 4+ years minimum experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
• Ability to code either in Javascript and/or Python
• Strong experience using Selenium
• Strong experience using Cypress
• Strong experience of automated testing
• Strong experience with manual testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• The ability to leverage Cucumber Js or Cypress JS for frontend testing
• Strong experience with Apium for Mobile testing
• Strong experience with Github or any other git repository
• Strong experience with Python or NodeJS
• Familiarity with various testing techniques
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
• Great troubleshooting skills
• Analytical mindset
• Fintech experience is a strong bonus
• Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
