We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fashion Designer

Job Description

• The role is responsible for overseeing all company’s day-to-day design needs.
• In this position, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching and cutting-edge designs.
• You will design, produce, and present new fashion apparel that is on-trend, while meeting with key suppliers, building relationships with the production team and working with them to create a finished product.

Responsibilities

• Draping of Proposed Designs
• Sketching of designs and its details.
• Research and create New Design using various fabrics
• Research for trims & Accessories to fit proposed designs
• Ensure to ascertain availability of raw materials to use for each specific design created
• Efficient in picking fabrics, colors, combinations and designs for production.
• Creative usage of fabric left overs to reduce wastage.
• Liaise with raw material and external vendors on accessories to be created for outfits produced.
• Has a vast experience of different fabrics and their special intricacies as it applies to designing most especially for female wear (male wear is an added advantage).
• Understand bridal wears concepts and its construction.
• Loves and understand children wears.
• Perform any other task assigned by management

Requirements / Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Art or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field
• Good knowledge of digital illustrations
• Portfolio of previous work
• In-depth understanding of design principles, fashion, and the fashion industry
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong sense of fashion is a critical skill for this role.

Remuneration
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
