About the Job

• We are looking for someone with the ability to deliver elegant and insightful analytics solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Candidates would have the ability to design metrics and KPIs, build queries using data from multiple data sources, use BI tools to create dashboards, and identify trends and provide insights to support business decision making.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, accountability, flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple and changing priorities, and be able to effectively collaborate with different teams.
• The role is responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of critical business intelligence initiatives and projects that will contribute to strategic decision-making across the company.
• Manages and coaches Data Stewards, Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Analysts, by planning, explaining and reviewing tasks with the team, establishing objectives, prioritizing activities and allocating resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and design specifications for business intelligence requirements
• Acquire, allocate and optimize the use of resources
• Monitor and track the team’s achievements and key performance indicators. 
• Supervise requirements traceability information and record requirements status in the course of the projects
• Translate analysis into common business language to influence business decisions or actions
• Develop roadmaps for optimizing the BI analysis insights
• Define the structure and tools to be applied in conceptualisation, design and building of visual dashboards and graphs
• Review operational strategies, policies and targets across teams and projects with the objective of Identifying the data/ analytics problems that offer the greatest opportunities to the organization
• Provide guidance on best practices related to BI data governance including the definition of data quality metrics and the monitoring of data quality reviews
• Explore, recommend and lead the implementation of new Business Intelligence platforms in collaboration with other business units such as Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Product and Risk
• Effectively communicate actionable insights of business performance and trends across a diverse audience for other business units teams to incorporate into their decision making at all levels of the organization
• Manage the team performance including providing coaching and development opportunities to maximize the potential of each individual.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Studies, or related field  with 7+ years of professional experience.
• Previous experience as Business Intelligence leader or manager
• Proven experience with SQL and BI Tools for data analysis.
• Firm understanding of statistics and databases.
• Expert problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
