Visual Designer at FairMoney Nigeria

FairMoney is building the leading mobile bank for emerging markets. We started with a digital microcredit application on Android, and currently roll out additional financial services (current account, savings, debit card) while expanding the product to Western Africa and South-East Asia.

Description
As a Visual Designer at FairMoney, you will be responsible for mainly, but not limited to:

• Create marketing materials that have a high visual impact, and help present our products and services to the public in a breakthrough way.
• Become familiar with the brand guidelines, images, components, and the overall brand identity of FairMoney.
• Work within existing brand guidelines and designs to version out comms collateral, image-based e-mails, and digital assets for our online & offline channels.
• Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and staying up to date on marketing and design trends, etc.
• Work well as part of a collaborative team, and directly with the Senior Visual Designer, Content Marketing Lead, Head of Marketing, and outside agencies (when necessary).

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a designer.
• Experience with animation design software (e.g. Adobe After Effects), visuals editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, ), and video editing tools (e.g Premiere Pro).
• Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts).
• Teamwork skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude.
• Photography skill is a plus.
