Job Title: Technical Course Creator

Location: Remote

Job Summary

• Data2Bots Academy, a program focused on training Data Professionals is currently in search of an experienced Technical Course Creator to create course content and training materials in the area of Data Engineering and similar Data related fields for students.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Learning & Development/Technical Teams to define scope and content of learning materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify content of learning materials and then create engaging and interactive  training materials, curriculum, class content and course work using a variety of software applications in accordance with agreed-upon project scope and parameters.
• Prepare engaging and interactive curriculums, class content and coursework aligned with course objectives.
• Carry out extensive research on additional course content.
• Coordinate with other team members (project collaborators and stakeholders) to avoid overlapping course content, maintain records of original intent, timelines and approved changes.
• Proactively review existing materials to ensure they are up to date.
• Assist in preparing training schedules and classroom agenda.
• Design daily lesson plans.
• Observe and evaluate results of training programs.
• Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.
• Provide support during training sessions.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar role.
• Any IT certification preferred.
• Experience in software engineering .
• Experience with a programming language (python preferred).
• Adequate understanding of the end-to-end software lifecycle.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Superior presentation skills.
• Eagerness to learn and transfer said knowledge.
• An eye for detail.
• Experience with working in an Agile project environment is an advantage.
