We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Special Assistant / Personal Assistant to Group Executive Chairman

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Receiving telephone calls, attending to enquiries / requests and handling them appropriately effectively and efficiently.
  • Attending to all internal and external customers with expected courtesy on behalf of the GEC.
  • Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments for the GEC.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing surface mails and faxes and correspond with 3rd parties behalf of the GEC.
  • Taking dictation and minutes of meetings from and on behalf of the GEC.
  • Carry out background research on the net and present findings in a logical coherent and structured manner.
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for and on behalf of the GEC.
  • Organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the GEC is well-prepared for meetings.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff members.
  • Devising and maintaining office systems including secured data management, filings Etc.
  • Arranging travels, transportation and accommodation for the GEC.

Required Qualifications

  • Academic qualification(s) required: HND / B.Sc. (2:1) in Secretariat Studies or Social Sciences: LLB, BL
  • Relevant Cognate Experience: Minimum of 5 Years’ experience
  • Professional Qualification: Chartered Secretary Etc. Would be an added advantage

Special Attributes / Competencies:

  • Must be computer savvy with a working excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite; most especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet / beat deadlines with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrable capacity to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Calm, friendly /corporate personality and professional disposition is essential.
  • Stress and time management skills.
  • A proven ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority.
  • Protecting confidential information is of high priority.
  • Perpetual maintenance of high degree of confidentiality – A MUST have.
