Job Title: CCTV Camera Installer / Technologist

Job Summary

• We are looking at hiring a CCTV Camera Installer / Technologist who will be responsible for undertaking various pre planned reactivate maintenance tasks and new installation works encompassing either, CCTV,Access control and security system equipment.
• CCTV Technician should also be responsible for installing and maintaining closed -circuit television systems.you should commonly work with video cameras,monitors,recording devices,networking equipment,and other related hardware to ensure that these systems are functioning properly at all times.
• CCTV Technician may also be called upon to troubleshoot problems with the system of its components.this might involve anything from replacing broken parts to diagnosing software issues or other technical difficuties.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems
• Monitoring the operation of security equipment for malfunctions and other problems.
• Recording events on camera and storing the footage in degital format for later reference
• maintaining log of security incident and making sure they are reported to the appropriate personnel
• Installing and maintaining security equipment such as alarms or access control systems
• Responding to security breaches or other emergencies such as fire or medical emergencies
• Operating computer systems that monitors survillance camera feeds for activities
• maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of health and safety
• Responding to out of hours service calls.

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification
• Demostrate at least 1 year previous experience in a security role.
• Demostrate atleast general knowlege of all security systems
• Demostrate strongcommuncation skills
• Sound administration skills with an understanding of the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same
• Must be willing to work.
• Must learn to work independently with little or no supervision
• Knowledge of fiber optics is added advantage.
