What you will Do

• Manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion, leading diverse technical teams
• Execute projects successfully by meeting stakeholder expectations, maintaining commercial excellence, achieving quality outputs and driving team cohesion and satisfaction.
• Execute cross border projects & manage cross border teams.
• Budgetary and financial responsibility for projects.
• Project tendering and preparation.
• Project resource management, including management of project resources over multiple locations.
• Client relationship management during project execution.
• Business development and client liaison at project level.
• Growing market position within existing client groups through quality project execution.
• Growing and managing new and existing client relationships through quality project execution.
• Engage clients, determining their needs, qualify opportunities, developing custom solutions and compiling proposal documents.
• Negotiating and concluding new assignments with Clients.
• Developing, reviewing and executing project contract documents.
• Contribute to strategic growth of the Industry AG PM Team.
• Contribute to the skills development of the PM Team in wider Nigeria.
• Other project and operational support as required.

• You will join a leading market and work with a dedicated and passionate team ranked as one of the best Data Centre design & engineering teams globally. You will join the Industry & Buildings  Advisory Group, which forms part of our Nigeria entity. You will be based at our Lagos office. 

What you Bring

• Engineering Degree (Masters degree preferable).
• Post Graduate Industrial Engineering or Project Management Qualification is beneficial.
• A minimum of 8 years post graduate experience managing multi-disciplinary projects as a consultant and preferably in the private sector.
• Demonstrable experience on multidisciplinary design coordination, preferably on FMCG industrial projects with process interfaces.
• Professional registration with a relevant body required (COREN, SACPCMP and/or PMI).
• Fundamental knowledge and experience in greenfield and brownfield FMCG industrial projects.
• Experience in execution of data Centre projects will be beneficial.
• Good understanding of FMCG industry practices, trends, processes and standards as well as their impact on project activities.
• Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders on all levels and through-out the life cycle of the project.
• Commercial/project management competencies/experience, comfortable with playing central role in both project acquisition and execution, with excellent communication skills.
• Practical management experience having led a team.
• Competent report writing skills and excellent communication ability.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and Project at an advanced level.
• Understanding and preferably experience with information management principles aligned to ISO19650.
• Consulting background/knowledge/skills.
• An energetic and enthusiastic team-player who is prepared to work across business units in the company.
• Strategic and innovative thinker with a focus on quality of output.
• Commercially astute with a strong marketing, growth and profit orientation.
