We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to take the lead with our Business Development and growth marketing strategies.
  • Your main duties include being responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth.
  • Coordinating with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.

Responsibilities

  • Determine new opportunities in line with Business Objectives.
  • Build Citywork’s market position by identifying, developing, converting, negotiating, and closing business opportunities.
  • Lead in the development of Citywork’s sales goals
  • Conceive and execute on a wide range of content campaigns to drive awareness and engagement
  • Oversee the management of all social media platforms and drive content creation
  • Analyze data to monitor revenue performance and uncover areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present recommendations , reports and findings from experimental data to juniors all the way up to executive level.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote the brand and network.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
  • At least 7 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional product development and sales teams
  • Strong track record in marketing and/or growth
  • Outstanding written , oral and organizational ability
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp and other relevant Social media, email and project management tools.
