Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced, analytical, results-driven Back-end developer to join our IT team. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyse current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.

• To succeed as a back-end developer, you should be focused on building a better, more efficient program and creating a better end-user experience. You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.
• Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality
• Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
• Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to match visual design intent
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties.
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency with PHP, Java, Ruby, Laravel, MySQL, and SQL.
• 4 years of experience as a Back-end developer
• In-depth understanding of web development
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple company or customer websites
• Technical and user experience to troubleshoot problems in the team and for clients.
