Job Title: Enterprise IP Engineer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Network management operational support
• Plan and Manage the Delivery of Layer 2 and Layer 3 links across the MPLS network.
• Provision customer services (IP Access, IP Transit, MPLS L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS)
• Manage the Migration of Enterprise Links from the Old TDM Network to an MPLS Network.
• Responsible for maintaining BGP peering with downstream customers.
• Responsible for integration of corporate client’s Layer 2 VPN on the MPLS Network.
• Responsible for integration of corporate client’s Layer 3 VPN on the MPLS Network
• Troubleshoot of various protocols like BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS.
• Responsible for provision, configuration and troubleshooting of Fiber to home Broadband clients on Huawei GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology
• Provide remote and onsite technical support for corporate clients.
• Diagnose and identify root cause analysis (RCA) of network issues.
• Proactively perform corrective maintenance for IP/MPLS Network.
• Responsible for the implementation of MPLS failover link implementation for Enterprise clients on a Mikrotik Router/Switch
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches and firewalls.
• Review and evaluate all technical documents related to IP/MPLS network.

Education & Skills

• Good First Degree
• Fluency in English
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Advanced Project Management skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and issues, simultaneously
• Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Must demonstrate interpersonal savvy with the ability to maneuver through complex situations effectively while building constructive relationships
• Ability to build partnerships in a matrix organizational environment
• CCNA certification
• 3 years of IP Network experience preferably in the Telecommunication industry
• Excellent organizational, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
